Control Transformers

Control transformers are used to step down supply voltages to a lower, safer voltage for control circuits and other low power devices, such as relays, contactors, motor starters, and signaling devices.

Features

• Power rating up to 5 KVA standard, inquire about higher power options
• Primary voltage: up to 25 kV class, 125 kV BIL
• Single or three phase
• Frequency: 50, 60, and 400 Hz standard, inquire for other frequencies
• Self-cooled construction

Optional

• Primary and/or secondary fusing
• Epoxy encapsulation
• UL Recognized insulation system (Primary must be 600V or less). MSI UL Insulation systems are available in 130°, 180° and 220°C ratings
• CE marking with declaration of conformity ROHS and Low Voltage Directive when applicable
• Private labeling with customer supplied nameplate artwork. Units that are private labeled cannot carry our UL label
• Final Test Reports with optional Certificate of Compliance
