Magnetic Specialties, Inc (MSI) of Telford, Pennsylvania was established in 1956 by William Byrd in Trenton NJ. MSI was one of the first companies to produce electrostatic precipitator control systems.

MSI is privately held and acquired by the Solar Atmospheres family of companies in 2002 as a source for power supplies and magnetics. MSI currently maintains a modern 20,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Telford PA.

Over the years we have grown to serve a diverse pool of OEM, Government and Research companies. MSI customers have our units in service around the world and in all conditions.
